Our biggest project to date, we were commissioned by the University of Melbourne through the McCann Group to revamp the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. Preproduction and shooting were done simultaneously, often with last minute captures to facilitate an overall suite of documentaries based on chosen students. Part of the production was to shoot in Florence. It was truly a highlight to have the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze closed to the public in order for us to capture a stunning image of the Statue of David. The project resulted in five short documentaries and over a hundred original content pieces. It reached a global audience of more than five million across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube with over 70,000 people visiting the First Commissions website. The campaign’s total reach was 146 million, and covered in media across Italy, China, the US, and the UK.
